1. Purpose

This policy keeps BobRay safe, lawful, and true to its privacy-first promise. It applies to everyone who uses the service and forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. Permitted use

You may use BobRay to measure traffic on websites and applications that you own or are authorized to manage, for legitimate business and personal purposes, in line with applicable law.

3. Prohibited use

You agree not to use BobRay to:

  • Break any law or regulation, or infringe anyone's rights;
  • Track websites you do not own or have permission to monitor;
  • Attempt to de-anonymize visitors or defeat the product's privacy design;
  • Distribute malware, run phishing or fraud schemes, or support such activity;
  • Promote hate, harassment, violence, or the sexual exploitation of minors;
  • Resell or sublicense the service except under an approved partner agreement;
  • Probe, scrape, overload, or disrupt our infrastructure or other users.

4. Data you may not collect

BobRay is built to avoid personal data. You must not attempt to send us, or use the service to gather, special-category personal data (such as health, biometric, or financial identifiers), data about children where prohibited, or any directly identifying information through custom events or properties.

5. Enforcement

If we believe an account violates this policy, we may investigate and take action ranging from a warning to suspension or termination, depending on severity. Where there's an imminent risk of harm or a legal requirement, we may act immediately and, where appropriate, notify the relevant authorities.

6. Reporting abuse

If you believe someone is misusing BobRay, please tell us at abuse@bobray.io. We review every report.
